ED Visa Support for Thai Language Students
Liberty Global Language School is fully authorized to assist international students with the Non-Immigrant ED Visa (Education Visa). We provide step-by-step support throughout the visa application process, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.
Applicant Qualification Requirements:
- Any nationality
- Having never previously held an ED Visa or Student Visa Thailand on a ‘Thai’ language program. (MOE and Immigration Bureau do not allow students to keep obtaining multiple ED Visas against the same language programme).
- If you previously held the ED Visa on an International English programme in university—provided that you held an ED Visa Thailand with the university for less than 3 months— you will be eligible to enroll for a 12-Month Thai Language programme as part of the ED Visa Bangkok program with Liberty Global (otherwise, you must leave Thailand and come back with a Tourist Visa in order to proceed the ED Visa application on a language programme).
- If you previously held the ED Visa Thailand on a Thai programme in the university—provided that you held Student Visa Thailand with the university for less than 3 months—you will be eligible to enroll for a 6-Month Pre-Intermediate + Intermediate Thai Language programme only (otherwise, you must leave Thailand and come back with Tourist Visa in order to proceed the ED Visa application on a language course).
- If you have previously held any other kind of visa in Thailand, you must leave the country and come back with a Tourist Visa in order to proceed with the ED Visa application on a language program.
- A criminal record certificate / background check is required by certain nationalities. You will need to collect a letter from Liberty Global before applying for the certificate at Royal Thai Police Headquarters
- If you have criminal record in your language, it must be translated into Thai and notarized by the translation center prior to your application.

Some nationalities like Indians, Chinese, Pakistanis, Sri Lanka, Middle Eastern and African will need to apply from their home country.
